Grandmother Wins National Draw
grandmother from Greater Manchester is cockahoop at having won £5,000
in a national draw.
J. Wardle, of Bury, Greater Manchester is the lucky winner of the
ILPH (International League for the Protection of Horses) National
Draw. She received her cheque earlier this week from ILPH Field
Officer, Chris Williamson, at ILPH Penny Farm their recovery and
rehabilitation centre at Peel, near Blackpool.

receipt of her cheque Mrs Wardle commented, "I bought the tickets
from a friend and as I buy lots of charity draw tickets throughout
the year, I thought no more of it. I am thrilled, this is the first
time I have ever won anything, I just couldn't believe it !
wonderful, I can now afford to visit my son in New Zealand and my
brother in Australia - I never thought I would ever be able to see
them again - until now."
