British Pony Team Win European Championships For The Seventh Year

 

Great Britain's Pony European Show Jumping Team, sponsored by KITT, won the Pony European Team Championship held at Necarne Castle, County Fermanagh, Ireland from 22 -27 July 2003.

The victorious team finished on a total score of 4 faults ahead of the Netherlands (9 faults) and Ireland (17 faults) respectively. This is the seventh consecutive year the British pony team has won European Championship Title under the guidance of Chef d'Equipe, Katrina Moore and Team Trainer, Alan Fazakerley

Fourteen Year Old, Hannah Paul from St Albans, Hertfordshire went on to take the individual Silver Medal with Mister Amontilano behind Switzerland's Julie Delaporte (Sabra). Sophie Broome took the Individual Bronze medal with Matthew Broome's, Spottie Dot Com.

Clare Whitaker, Chairman of the Pony International Committee was delighted with the result and thankful for the help and support given to the team by Sponsors, KITT, owners and parents.

Team Sponsors, KITT were equally as delighted with the result in their second year of sponsorship of this successful team.
