AON Extends Sponsorship at Horse of the Year Show

International risk management and human capital consultants, AON have extended their involvement with show jumping in the UK by sponsoring the Puissance at this year's Horse of the Year Show (NEC Arena 9th - 13th October).

AON has been involved with the sport for a number of years, most notably through their association with the BSJA in the last 4 years with the national 6 Year Old show jumping championship which has been designed to nurture young well-bred competition horses for the future. The results of which are now beginning to show through - this year the winner of the Grand Prix at Royal Windsor was the AON 6 Year Old champion in 2000, Marius Claudius, ridden by Robert Smith.

AON has also been a keen supporter of the recently completed Golden Jubilee Tour- by having the AON qualifiers at the shows and supporting the BSJA with the television programmes shown on Sky Sports 2.

"The AON Puissance is the ultimate test of ability for the horse and rider and we are delighted to become associated with such a prestigious and famous competition" said Susannah Lawson, Sponsorship Manager for AON Ltd. "We will also be looking to develop closer business links with the BSJA and Grandstand Media Ltd the organisers of the Horse of the Year Show" she added.

Mike Gill, a director of Grandstand Media commented, "We are delighted that AON are increasing their involvement at Horse of the Year Show with the sponsorship of the Puissance. This year's move to the NEC Arena has created unprecedented public demand and this sponsorship further demonstrates the ever increasing profile and appeal of this prestigious event."
