Hilton Herbs : The Best just got Better

Hilary Self - Director and co - founder of Hilton Herbs has spent the last 4 years studying with the University of Wales and the College of Phytotherapy in order to qualify as a Medical Herbalist. Since she formulated her first commercial mix 15 years ago Hilary has been determined to support her extensive practical experience with a science based degree involving an indepth study of herbal medicine for humans.

Hilton Herbs have long been regarded as the leading authority on herbs for horses, and have always sought to educate their customers as to the safe and effective application of complementary therapies. This qualification can only add to this position of strength and should give Hilton Herbs customers even more confidence when consulting the Helpline or purchasing Hilton products.

The successful completion of this degree course which included a statutory 500 hours of clinical practice at the University's London Clinic of Herbal Medicine now enables Hilary to open her own practice and to join the prestigious National Institute of Medical Herbalists. She states: " Plant medicines are a safe and effective treatment which can be used independently, or in conjunction with allopathic medicine to support the whole body and offer relief of many common conditions "

Hilary believes that Hilton Herbs will be the only company producing herbal products for horses, whose range of products are formulated by a fully qualified Medical Herbalist. Hilary intends to put her in depth knowledge to good use in the future by focusing on herbal supplements to help support horses suffering from specific conditions such as Equine Cushing's disease, which was the subject of her final years dissertation.

Hilary has already written one successful book " A Modern Horse Herbal" which has sold worldwide, and has been translated into 5 languages. A follow up title has already been requested by her publishers, along with a Canine Herbal which she is planning to write in conjunction with Homoeopathic Veterinary Surgeon Tim Couzens.
