Top Two Riders Battle For KL Grand Prix 2003
Lumpur, August 15, 2003 - The excitement is mounting as the international
equestrian community waits with bated breath for the world's two
top riders, Markus Fuchs and Ludger Beerbaum, to meet in a clash
of skills and wills in the upcoming International Horse Show 2003,
to be held in the Putra Stadium from 2-5 October.
rider Markus Fuchs, the current World Number One Rider and runner
up Ludger Beerbaum have announced their intentions to compete
for the much coveted Kuala Lumpur Grand Prix Title in October.
47, for the second month this August, is the ruling world champion
since a spectacular defeat of German Ludger Beerbaum's reign of
two years since the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI) Gandini

The KL Grand Prix is a five-star CSI international showjumping
event that is scheduled for October to 5, 2003 at Putra Stadium
in Bukit Jalil. The event will witness world top-ranked riders
and horses competing for the very first time in Asia. The objectives
of the KL Grand Prix are to institute top-level equestrian sports
in Malaysia and promote the sport to the larger public.
