USET Names Eventing Team and Individuals For World Equestrian Games

Gladstone, NJ—September 9, 2002—The United States Equestrian Team (USET) has announced the horse-and-rider combinations that will compete as the Eventing Team and as individuals for the United States at the 2002 World Equestrian Games (WEG) in Jerez, Spain, September 11-22.

Named to the Team are:

David O'Connor The Plains, VA Giltedge Jacqueline B. Mars, Christa Badger, Jonathan Ireland
Kimberly Severson-Vinoski Scottsville, VA Royal Venture or Linda E. A. Wachtmeister, Plain Dealing Farm, Inc.

The decision regarding which horses Vinoski and Tryon will ride will be made following the inspection of the cross country course and the first horse inspection.
