A Horse of Course

Walter has a coloring book

Color him black, or color him red. Color him with wild abandon, or disciplined strokes, but whatever you do, get in on the fun and color in Walter's Coloring Book. You could win a prize! (Come-on, mom, come-on, dad, it's a great stress reducer.)
Just like Walter--a horse, of course--his coloring book is a little different-it has pictures to color, but it also has a story to tell about horses, history and Santa Claus. In Walter's first coloring book, Walter wants to pull Santa's sleigh. Different in a second way, Walter's Coloring Book is an e-book, and can only be ordered over the Internet at www.donblazer.com.
"Tiny tots love to color and they love to have mom or dad read them Walter's stories. Kids like Walter because he's just like the horse they dream about or own, and adults like Walter because he always has something of value to impart. So Walter's Coloring Book is perfect for the whole family," says Diane Blazer, designer and editor.
"And that's the goal of Success Is Easy; providing information in an entertaining way; and Walter's Coloring Book sure does that," she said.
The coloring book can be ordered for $1.95 from the online book catalog at www.donblazer.com. Visitors to the site can read more Walter stories, or ask questions about horse training, nutrition or veterinary medicine.
Color the pictures, and then select one as your entry in Walter's Coloring Book contest. There are age categories, but no age limits. Every member of the family can participate. Contest rules are in the coloring book. Each month several of the pictures will be chosen winners and each will get a ribbon. The winners will automatically be entered in the year-end finals, the winner of which gets a Walter model. If the winner already has a model, then the first place prize will be a silver show halter for the Walter model.
Twelve of the winning entries will be selected for display on Walter's Calendar for the year 2004.
Walter's coloring books are based on the stories in Walter's book, Walter Spills The Oats. The coloring books contain a dozen drawings depicting a special story of about horses, horse activities, or horse history. The drawings for the first book, Santa's Sleigh Story were done by Celeste Plitz. A new Walter Coloring Book will be released after the first of the year.
