Totally Online Equine Associate Degree now available

If you have been searching for a very indepth Equine Program that allows you to stay home and get a degree this is it. The classes are 8 week, very indepth, courses. Students may take as many, or as few, classes as time permits.

Global Equine Academy, Sundance, Wyo. and Dickinson State University, Dickinson, ND have teamed together to offer this great opportunity. All equine lovers now have the opportunity to stay home and get an associate degree in Equine Management. These classes are transferable to any College or University.

Gene and Sandy Miller, owners and founders of Global Equine Academy, live near Sundance, Wyoming. The Millers started, and taught, the equine program at National American University in Rapid City, SD, they also taught in the WDTI Equine Program for five years. They have a background of teaching for the past 30 years both at the high school and college level, plus a personal level having their own training facility and ranch. The information that is contained in this program is tops and comes from years of experience.

Eleven totally online classes are offered for an associate degree and financial aid, or the courses can be taken for certification. Classes offered are college level classes and are as follows: Equine Nutrition, Equine Reproduction, Stallion Management, Equine Health and Diseases, Facility Management, Equine Anatomy, Equine Behavior and Safety, Equine Business, and Equine Marketing. There are two online Centered Riding Classes offered, these classes are a combination of dressage and western riding to enhance your performance horse's ability, we call the classes "Cowboy Dressage". These classes are offered through lecture and video.

There are also 4 hands on courses offered at the Miller Ranch near Sundance, Wyoming. Those classes are: Colt Starting, Reining, Barrel Horse Training, and Farrier Class.

The next 8 week block of classes begins January 13th, 2003.
