Smoky Mountain Tennessee Walking Horse Sale

Smoky Mountain Sales presents in February the Smoky Mountain Tennessee Walking Horse Sale. Selling top Tennessee Walking Horses again and this sale promises to be one of the best ever. With a line up of over 250 horses for sale, buyers will have a great selection from horses all over the Eastern US. The Sale will be February 22nd and 23rd, 2002. We have top winning show entries for this sale and the On-Line catalog will be available the first week of Feb.

If you are looking to buy, sale, or see quality horses then don't miss out on this event. The sale will be held at The Great Smoky Mountain Expo Center in White Pine, Tennessee, USA. The Expo Center is one of the greatest facilities for a horse sale. It offers a 300 foot x 150 foot heated indoor sale and warm up ring. Buyers can observe horses in connecting barns where horses are assigned 12' x 12' stalls. Horse barns have horse locator postings for ease of finding horses. Big outside warm-up ring connected. The warm up area, behind the ring auctioneer, is where horses stage for their final preparation before entering the sale ring. The sale ring offers presenters a 250 foot long area to ride or parade horses in front of the buyers and the auctioneer. There are 6 ring men to help the buyers and sellers in the ring. You don't have to leave the arena, concession areas have famous char-broiled pork tenderloin sandwiches cooked on the spot and available all during the sale, always a hit.

The Smoky Mountain Walking Horse Sale has been designed with the you the seller, buyer, vender, and first time visitor in mind. The Expo Center's media and sound system is balanced so wherever you are in the arena you can hear what is being said from the ring. Check out the Smoky Mountain Sales web site and browse around, click below. We tried to show you what all our sale has to offer from aerial photos of the Expo Center, a demonstration of the sound system, horse and riders, to the smiling face of the little girl who got the horse she wanted for her birthday .... and she made her daddy take it home that night too.

The owners are not new to the horse business they have been buying, selling, breeding, and showing horses for over 30 years. After years of attending other sales they decided to put together in one place all of the best things a sale could offer starting with great horses for sale and a great facility to best present those horses to buyers . It is completely accessible to the handicapped with elevators that will take the wheelchairs to the front-center row of the arena and even to the arena floor. Yes, we said, "NO" port-a-potties here, big clean restrooms inside the arena and outside between the barns and the Expo. Plenty of parking for cars, trucks, and semi truck and trailers complete wash down area for 8 horses adjacent to the barns. Buyers check-out in 3 lines.

All that is lacking is YOU! See our full page adds in the January and February issues of Voice magazine "The Voice of the Tennessee Walking Horse".
