Exciting Plans For The Pony Club's 75th Anniversary

The Pony Club, the biggest youth organisation in the country for both boys and girls, is this year celebrating is 75th Anniversary and has announced some exciting plans for the forthcoming year.

HRH The Princess Royal will be attending three events in the first half of the Year. Her Royal Highness will:

Attend and speak at the Pony Club Conference, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire on Wednesday, 10th March
Visit a Pony Club Centre at Twin Trees Equestrian Centre, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire on Thursday 15th April 2004
Attend the 75th Anniversary Luncheon to be held at the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials on the opening day of the event, Thursday 29th April

The Pony Club Annual Conference (10th March), is one of the first events to be held in the newly refurbished Centaur Suite at Cheltenham Racecourse and will be attended by around 500 Pony Club Officials.

The Royal Windsor Horse Show has given over half a day of ring time on Sunday, 13th May to a celebration of The Pony Club.

The Pony Club is this year’s official charity at the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials (29th April – 2nd May), The Pony Club is planning a special programme of activities around the event (details tbc in due course).

The Pony Club, with huge support from Mitsubishi Motors, will be launching a raffle at Badminton, which will run for the rest of the year, to win a Mitsubishi 5dr Shogun Pinin Warrior.

At both The East of England Show (19th-20th June) and The Royal Show (4th-7th July), The Pony Club will be staging two 40-minute displays in the Main Arena.

The Gatcombe Park Horse Trials is giving special admission concessions to Pony Club Members (details tbc).
