USA Equestrian Awards Grant To 2002 WEG Team Member Amy Tryon

USA Equestrian's Executive Committee approved awarding a $2,500 Torchbearer grant to eventing athlete, Amy Tryon of Redmond, WA, at a meeting held via conference call on January 30. Tryon represented the U.S. in the World Equestrian Games held in Jerez, Spain, September 10 - 22, 2002.

Since its inception, USA Equestrian has awarded more than $120,000 in Torchbearer Grants to 23 athletes, athlete/rider teams and organizations.

"Our ability to provide financial support to America's top equestrian athletes is the direct result of the generosity of our members. We remain grateful for their investment in the sport and their growing commitment to excellence", said Kevin Burns, USA Equestrian's Assistant Executive Director of Development.
