USA Equestrian Announces Expansion of Silver Stirrup Awards Program

USA Equestrian is pleased to announce that it has expanded the Performance
Horse Registry's 2002 Silver Stirrup Awards Program to include new National
awards for Hunter Breeding, Intermediate and Preliminary Level Eventing and
Children's Hunter.

Ponies and Pre-Green Hunters have also been added for the first time this
year at the Zone and State Levels, including awards for Pony Hunter, Pony
Hunter Breeding, Pony Jumper and Pre-Green Hunters. Green Pony Hunter's have
also been added to the 2002 awards at the State level. Junior Jumper,
Children's and Adult Amateur Jumpers are now being included at the Zone
Level as well as the State Level.

To participate in the Silver Stirrup Awards Program, horses must be
registered with the PHR, or one of its contract registries, and nominated to
the awards program. Complete information, downloadable forms and standings

USA Equestrian Inc., as the National Equestrian Federation of the U.S., is the regulatory body for the Olympic and World Championship sports of dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, reining, show jumping, and vaulting, as well as 19 other breeds and disciplines of equestrian competition. As the country's largest multi-breed organization, the Federation has over 77,000 members and recognizes more than 2,800 competitions nationwide each year.
