A Nosebag Of Goodies At Equus 2003!

horse

Equus-The Horse Event, is unveiling a whole host of innovative, stylish and practical new products for the equestrian industry. The show takes place from 3-6 April 2003 at ExCeL in London's Docklands. With over 100 exhibitors, a huge variety of products will be launched from clothing and stable gear to the latest technological breakthroughs in healthcare, fodder and machinery. This year's show has everything for anyone who is passionate about horses!

For the latest in new equipment, All Time Equestrian have joined forces with Top British Showjumper William Funnell to design and launch their Spring collection of tack, rugs, clothing, and stable gear. When looking to design the best products, who better to ask than the experts? William will be at the show to give advice, answer questions and discuss his new range.

Equus is also an excellent place to find out about the latest developments in horse technology and innovation. Farriers Original Remedies will be launching their new BodyRolax massage system. Designed for horses (but pretty good for humans as well!) this system is perfect for relaxing tired and aching muscles. Farriers will also be introducing their new cold-fogging machine that dispenses their disinfecting and de-odorising EquiViro solution, proved to greatly reduce ammonia and dust levels in the stable.

For riders looking to become more qualified, more specialised or even looking for a complete change of career there are a number of new courses on show at Equus 2003. The University of Wales is offering a new foundation course in Equine Studies, the perfect vocational route to a career in the industry.

Fizz Coaching, one of the UK's most successful coaching clinics for riders will also be launching a new three-tiered programme that increases flexibility for trainers to learn according to their preferences and needs. Part time courses are also widely available from centres such as Capel Manor College who will be offering part-time courses in saddlery.

In addition to all this, there are thousands of the latest horse-care products on show. If your horse is too 'fizzy', has allergies or has become resistant to worming products, companies such as Libbys, HorseHage, Wormers Direct, Global Herbs, Fizz Coaching and Virbac will all be unveiling their new products. Students of the UK's leading horse whisperer Kelly Marks have recently published their new book "Whispering Back" and this will also be launched at the show.

WIN A FANTASTIC HOLIDAY PRIZE
If all of these new goodies aren't enough, one lucky visitor to Equus 2003 will win a fantastic holiday. In The Saddle-Holidays on Horseback, in conjunction with Los Alamos Equestrian Holiday Centre in Spain and British Airways have offered a wonderful prize of a one week holiday for two people in southern Andalucia, worth over £1700. The winner of the holiday will be drawn in the Main Arena on Sunday 6th April at 4.30pm by Kelly Marks.

And, for anyone wanting to get a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes of a show like Equus, three tours a day will visit the Equus stables. Over 75 celebrity horses are making the journey to Equus and for £2.50 visitors can meet equine stars such as Geoff Billington's favourite horse, 'Its Otto' and Pippa Funnell's, 'Supreme Rock' or 'Over to You' ridden by Jeanette Brakewell. On completion of the tour everyone will get an Equus badge, pen and a special certificate.

If you want to keep your finger on the pulse of the equestrian world, why not make a visit to the show.
