horse Jeffries To Sponsor Ginny Elliot MBE

INDIVIDUAL and team Olympic medallist Ginny Elliot MBE has secured a new sponsorship deal with leading saddlery manufacturers E. Jeffries and Sons.

The triple Badminton and five times Burghley winner, European and World Championship victor is embarking on a new nationwide training series in addition to her usual clinics and coursewalks around the country, and will be involved in new product development at Jeffries.

Duncan Kent of Jeffries said: "The skills and expertise gathered by Ginny over the years will be invaluable. We are really looking forward to working with her."

Added Ginny who is based at Middle Barton, Oxon: "I am delighted to be in a position to build a strong partnership and work closely with Jeffries. Their saddlery represents quality and is practical, two essentials when working with horses.

"Jeffries saddlery is synonymous with the best and it is wonderful to have their backing. Working on new projects and new equipment is always very exciting and I am very much looking forward to working together."

Ginny was at the forefront of the eventing world for many years, partnering such great names as Priceless, Night Cap, Master Craftsman, Welton Houdini and Welton Romance.

Well known for her effortless style across country she is now highly regarded as a trainer of event riders and also spends much of her time training point to pointers.

Ginny's training can take her as-far-afield as Portugal and she is also heavily involved in fundraising for Saddle-Up which raises money for spinal injuries.

Last year she raised £55,000 on a four-day sponsored ride, for the charity of which she is a patron.
