Huffman Victorious At 2003 USAE Reining Seat Medal Finals

Kelsey Huffman of Norco, CA, and her mount Top Hickory, won the 2003 USAE Reining Seat Medal Finals presented by EMO Agency, Inc., held April 17-18, in Del Mar, CA.

Kelsey was awarded the “Lauren Bailey” trophy for having the highest cumulative equitation score along with the “My Midnight Special” trophy for having the highest cumulative reining pattern in the finals. As the high scoring junior exhibitor her name will be engraved on the Adrian Van Sinderen trophy, named for the AHSA President who founded the equitation medal program in 1937.

Champion accolades include a custom working saddle made by Carl Wood Reining Saddles of Delta, CO, a custom buckle by Broken Horn Saddlery, a pair of Ariat boots and a wool Triple Crown Custom cooler. Kelsey’s name will also be engraved on the Glenn Gimple Perpetual Bronze Trophy, designed by Mel Lawson and donated by Mr. Lawson and friends of Glenn Gimple.
