EMG Announces On-Site Equine Diagnostic Facility

Palgrave, Ontario --- The Equestrian Management Group (EMG) is pleased to announce that McMaster Services and McKee-Pownall Equine Services will operate an equine diagnostic facility at the Caledon Equestrian Park for the duration of the 2004 show season, May 12 to September 28.

Operational for a full 18 weeks, the state-of-the-art facility will be dedicated to lameness diagnostics, therapies and pre-purchase examinations. Conveniently located in the west stabling area, the facility will offer easy access to horses on the show grounds as well as horses coming from off-site. Available to the many other veterinarians that service their clientele at the show grounds, the facility will allow for quick and easy access to the finest equipment and technicians.

Highlighting their commitment to the horse community, McMaster Services and McKee-Pownall Equine Services will be the title sponsor of the $10,000 Open Welcome Class during both the Classic @ Palgrave Phase 1 Horse Show, held May 12-16, and the Caledon National Horse Show, held May 19-23.

“This sponsorship and service arrangement with McMaster Services and McKee-Pownall Equine Services is a good example of EMG’s commitment to offering our service providers and corporate partners broad-based opportunities for exposure,” notes Craig Collins, Managing Partner of EMG. “We feel that as members of our ever-growing horse industry, the commitment they demonstrate to the sport will pay dividends to their individual business and or services.”

The equine diagnostic facility operated by McMaster Services and McKee-Pownall Equine Services is just one more example of the important on-site services offered to the thousands of exhibitors that attend EMG competitions each year at the Caledon Equestrian Park. EMG is committed to focusing its attention on the needs of athletes, both human and equine, which in turn contributes to the overwhelming success of the Caledon Equestrian Park.

Visitors are welcome to view and learn more about the state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment used by the facility. For more information, please contact McMaster Services and McKee-Pownall Equine Services at tel: (519) 856-8225 or e-mail: mpownalldvm@cogeco.ca.
