Brighton Mitsubishi Jump In As Event Sponsors

Brighton Mitsubishi has just announced that it will be sponsoring this year's Eventing Grand Prix at Hickstead, a spectacular feature of the Golden Jubilee Royal International Horse Show, which takes place from 24th to 28th July.

The Eventing Grand Prix is has established itself as one of the most exciting attractions at the show, the event seeing some of the world's top event riders take on many of the world¹s leading show jumpers.

Held at the All England Jumping Course on Friday 26th July, the Eventing Grand Prix is designed to test the courage, speed and technical abilities of both horse and rider, all within sight of a large and enthusiastic crowd.

With the previous sponsors pulling out, Brighton Mitsubishi saw an opportunity to promote their Southwick based dealership, together with Mitsubishi's acclaimed range of Shogun models, which are destined to appeal to many of the show's visitors, as Dealer Principal, Mike Evans explains:

'This is great opportunity for us. Hickstead is a very high profile event and when the sponsorship of the Eventing Grand Prix became available, we were delighted to take up the option.'

Throughout the duration of the show, Brighton Mitsubishi will be displaying a 3-door Mitsubishi Shogun Pinin Classic in the centre of the Main Arena. This actual car will be presented to the winner of the Eventing Grand Prix on Friday evening by Group Managing Director John Ramsey.

Brighton Mitsubishi¹s support underpins Mitsubishi Motors existing sponsorship of equestrian events, the UK arm of the Japanese manufacturer having been title sponsors of Mitsubishi Badminton Horse Trials for 10 years and national hunt racing since the late 1970's.
