NEWS UPDATE

Entries - There are currently 127 entries for the event including Individual Olympic Gold Medallist David O'Connor. The youngest competitor is now Mr Tom Crisp (GBR aged 22) riding Barnaby's Ballad. Please see the website for further information

Television Times - The BBC's coverage of Burghley will now be shown on Sunday 2nd September on BBC2's Grandstand 15.45-16.55 (BST). Eurosport's coverage will be shown on 19th September 19.00-20.30 (BST) and 20.00-21.30 (CET). These are alterations to the previous times.

Burghley Live Site - The Live section of the Burghley website will go live on Tuesday, 28th August.

Rolex Grandslam - Having won at Lexington, David O'Connor is the only rider in contention for the Rolex Grandslam and needs to win Burghley and Badminton to win the $250,000 prize.

Travel to Burghley - Due to roadworks on the A1 between Peterborough and Stamford, Burghley Horse Trials traffic northbound on the A1 will be offered a better route into this year's event. Those coming to the event on any of it's four days, should look for the alternative route signs onto the A1139 - Peterborough south junction on the A1.
