USA Equestrian Approves Criteria For Driving Championships

The USA Equestrian Executive Committee met Wednesday, September 25, and approved criteria for the selection of the U.S. team to compete at the FEI World Pony Driving Championship, to be held August 14 - 17, 2003, in Karlstetten, Austria. The selection criteria and application are now available on the USA Equestrian web site www.equestrian.org.

The criteria for the selection of the U.S. team to compete at the FEI World Pair Driving Championship, to be held in Haras de Jardy, France, September 18 - 21, 2003 was also approved during the September 25 meeting. The selection criteria and application are also available on the Federation website www.equestrian.org


USA Equestrian Inc., as the National Equestrian Federation of the U.S., is the regulatory body for the Olympic and World Championship sports of dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, reining, show jumping, and vaulting, as well as 19 other breeds and disciplines of equestrian competition. As
the country's largest multi-breed organization, the Federation has over 80,000 members and recognizes more than 2,800 competitions nationwide each year. It governs all aspects of competition, including educating and licensing all judges, stewards, and technical delegates who officiate at these shows.
