O'Connor Wins USA National Two Star Eventing Championship

David O'Connor, riding the 6-year-old gelding, Nicki Henley, beat out Kim Severson Vinoski and Oliver Edgecombe to win the Combined Training Trophy for the USA National Two-Star Eventing Championship held at the Radnor Hunt International Three-Day Event in Malvern, Pennsylvania, October 10-13.

As Nicki Henley's owner, Mara de Puy's Willow Bend Farm won the Jonathan R. Burton Trophy for the USA National Young Horse Eventing Championship.

Championship results (U.S. Finishers) for the CCI** division, through tenth place, follow:

* Champion - David O'Connor with Nicki Henley (Irish Thoroughbred)
* Second Place - Kim Severson Vinoski with Oliver Edgecombe (New Zealand Thoroughbred)
* Third Place - Adrienne Iorio Borden with Make Mine Irish (Irish Sport Horse: Easy Life x Sally Ann 5)
* Fourth Place - David O'Connor with Wyndham (Hanoverian/Thoroughbred: Wishing Well x Morning Treat, by Belistar)
* Fifth Place - Michael Mendell with Dark Harbour (Irish Thoroughbred:Master Imp - Wykeham Belle, by Highland King)
* Sixth Place - Bonnie Mosser with Stina (Thoroughbred: Right of Light x Regent Doll)
* Seventh Place - Julia Steinberg with Mr. Big (Thoroughbred: Touchof Pleasure x Maggoty)
* Eighth Place - Sean McQuillan with Kilfinnan (Thoroughbred)
* Ninth Place - Sinead Halpin with Cruizin' On (New ZealandThroroughbred: Grand Review x Golden Torah)
* Tenth Place - Buck Davidson with Otto (Thoroughbred: Tank's Number- Loquacious Gal, by Noble Nashua)
