Enjoy a “Taste of Wellington” at The 120th National Horse Show

Wellington, Florida – October 24, 2003 – The National Horse Show, now in its 120th year, will return for the second year in a row to The Palm Beach Polo Equestrian Club in Wellington during Thanksgiving week from Wednesday, November 26, through Sunday, November 30, 2003.

Spectators attending The National will be treated to a vast array of activities, including watching some of the best horses and riders in the United States squaring off in this prestigious year-end competition, viewing a unique demonstration of Friesian dressage horses, participating in a children’s fair and doing some holiday shopping at the various vendors’ booths spread around the show grounds.

One of the most popular activities will take place on Friday, November 28, from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm in The Special Events Pavilion where one and all can enjoy the ever-popular “Taste of Wellington”. The top restaurants in Wellington will be encouraging spectators to stop by and sample some of their finest fare. So, for the price of admission to The National (free for children 12 and under, $10 for adults and $7 for children over 12 and seniors over 65), a virtual cornucopia of cuisine will be available for the tasting.

Participating restaurants will be:

· Charlie’s Steamers, located at 13860 Wellington Trace, which specializes in everything seafood.

· The Bamboo Club, located at The Wellington Green Mall, which specializes in Thai and Chinese foods.

· The Player’s Club, located at 13410 South Shore Boulevard, which specializes in steaks, chops, game and seafood.

· Anthony’s, located at 13889 Wellington Trace, which specializes in 16 types of gourmet Italian pizzas.

· House of Cappuccino, located at Greenview Shores and Wellington Trace, which specializes in great coffee as well as Lebanese, Greek and Israeli fare.

· Nicole’s, located at 12300 South Shore Boulevard, which specializes in steak, seafood and specialty sauces.
