Magnus & Ben Mhor
Magnus Secures TopSpec Sponsorship

TOP show rider and producer Magnus Nicholson has secured sponsorship from leading nutrition experts TopSpec Equine.

Magnus, winner of the Heavyweight Hunter of the Year with Benn Mhor at this year's HOYS is well known for his showmanship in the ring and takes feeding his team of show horses seriously to keep them in top condition.

With a strong hand, Magnus has had a busy 2003 riding the lightweight hunter Zip It Up, middleweight Waterfront, heavyweight Benn Mhor as well as the cob Earnpark Padraig, and Riding Horses.

Said Magnus who is based at Fossoway, Kinross, in Scotland: "I am delighted with the results of feeding TopSpec.

Since we started using the Feed Balancer earlier this year we have noticed a big difference; the horses' topline and condition have developed and they all look extremely well.

It is also good to have experienced nutritional advice available, especially when we get new horses on the yard that present specific challenges."

Magnus spends many hours on the road travelling up and down the country during the season and needs his horses to relax on the journeys so that they do not arrive tucked up and tense.

Said Nicola Tyler: "Magnus understands the importance of feeding horses safely to achieve the desired condition whilst minimising the risk of any problems and we are delighted to be supporting his team.

"His horses look well-muscled, have superb manners and are turned out to the highest standard. At HOYS his horses were all immaculate and we felt they reflected the attention to detail we pay to every aspect of TopSpec production."
