Hedgeholme Stud Announces Two New Stallions for
2001
Hedgeholme Stud are pleased to
announce that for the 2001 season two new Stallions will be available for
British Breeders. The well proven stallion NAMAQUALAND a Group
Winning son of Mr. Prospector has moved to Hedgeholme from Rathbarry Stud in
Ireland. NAMAQUALAND was on of the highest placed stallions on
his percentage of winners to runners with his two year olds, he will be a real
asset for the smaller Breeder, and is to stand at a fee of £2,500 October
1st terms, with concessions to proven mares. |

The really fast son of Dancing
Dissident, ALMATY will be joining NAMAQUALAND
for the 2001 season at Hedgeholme, this exciting new Stallion could well be the
horse to fill the gap in the North left by Clantime. ALMATY
won six races all over five furlongs, and won two Group Three races,The Curragh
Stakes and the Molecomb Stakes, as well as the Listed Achilles Stakes at
Kempton, where he broke the course record. ALMATY is a
grandson of AL BAHAHTRI and both were regarded highly in Ireland
ALMATY being the Top rated Three Year Old Sprinter of his
Generation, he was also joint second top rated two year old, AL BAHAHTRI was
the Champion Three year old filly and Champion three year old miler.

ALMATY will be standing at a fee of £1500 October 1st,
with concessions for proven mares, and as an added incentive anyone booking
before the end of January will be offered a nomination at £800 October
1st.
