We are looking forward to a spectacular showing of world-class competition
during the Lake Placid Horse Shows this summer, said Richard Feldman,
chairman of the Lake Placid Horse Show Association.
Summer in the Adirondacks has become a yearly tradition for many North
American equestrians. Riders enjoy the Adirondack Mountain region and
the
great recreational opportunities it offers. Fishing, swimming, hiking,
canoeing, camping, and biking can all be enjoyed just a few steps away
from
the horse shows. Plus, many fun activities occur right on the show grounds,
such as the annual Doggie Costume Contest.
