European champion presents the German national
champion
Two top stars will enter the square for the Reiter
Revue International Golden Kids Cup, pony freestyle dressage on the level of
international category L dressage: on Friday, 10th March , 4 p.m. the EQUITANA
2001 will present Marion Engelen, the reigning European pony dressage champion
in the large ring (hall 6), who will saddle the national champion of the year
2000 in five-year-old pony dressage, Pan Tau B. Marion Engelen, who was raised
in the Lower Rhine area first caused a sensation in eventing and then rode from
success to success in the square with the talented Bönninger stud pony.
With Dornick B. the 15-year-old schoolgirl quickly advanced to the cadre of
national trainer Cornelia Endres. The highpoint of what was still just the
beginning of her career was winning in the individual and team European
championship last year in Hagen at Teutoburger Wald.
Apart from Dornick B, who in addition to Golden Dancer is one of the most
sought-after sires at the Bönniger Stud in Tönisvorst, Marion Engelen
has in black-brown Pan Tau from Power Star-Black Magic another super pony to
ride. The smart stallion, whose movement potential was particularly convincing,
won the five-year pony dressage easily with a score of 9.4.
