National Driving Championships Approved

At its meeting on February 12, 2002, the USA Equestrian Executive Committee
approved the Driving Committee's recommendations for awarding national
championships as follows.

* The 2002 USA National Combined Driving Pony Championships
(for singles, pairs, and teams) will be hosted by The Laurels at Landhope
CAI-B (Unionville, Pennsylvania -- September 6-8, 2002).

* The 2002 USA National Combined Driving Singles Championship
will be hosted by the Fair Hill International CDE (Elkton, Maryland --
October 25-27, 2002).

* The 2003 USA National Combined Driving Singles Championship
will be hosted by the Parker High Prairie Farms CDE (Parker, Colorado --
August 22-24, 2003).

USA Equestrian Inc., as the National Equestrian Federation of the U.S., is the regulatory body for the Olympic and World Championship sports of dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, reining, show jumping, and vaulting, as well as 19 other breeds and disciplines of equestrian competition. As the country's largest multi-breed organization, the Federation has over 77,000 members and recognizes more than 2,800 competitions nationwide each year. It governs all aspects of competition, including educating and licensing all judges, stewards, and technical delegates who officiate at these shows.
