FINAL LUCRATIVE FOR BREEDERS

Friday is traditionally breeder's day at Indoor Brabant; in the morning there is a try-out test for participants in the finals of the TNT Sires of the World. On Friday evening, 23 March, the finals of the TNT Sires of the World are programmed for 19.00 hours. The twenty five stallions with the highest ranking, after four competition heats, are permitted to start in the finals.

It has been argued before that the competition is very lucrative for breeders. The breeders of the three most highly placed stallions have a chance for the Stud-book Zangersheide Super Breeders Premium with a total of 10.000 Euro. The winner of the competition will get 5.000 Euro; second and third places will get 3.000 Euro and 2.000 Euro respectively. The only condition is that the breeders concerned must be present to accept the cheque. All breeders of stallions that have taken part in the TNT Sires of the World of the last season have been invited by the organization to attend the finals.

It is not only breeders of participating stallions that can receive a nice bonus in the finals. Visitors also have the chance to win a free stud service from the stallions that reach the first three places in the final ranking of the competition. In the Indoor Brabant starting lists and result boxes will be forms available for visitors to fill-in with the stallion they think might be the most likely winner and, in their opinion, which will be the three most highly placed stallions of the competition. Chosen from those with the correct answers will be a lottery for three winners who can then have their mare covered for free. The stallions with a chance of winning are the Zangersheide stallions, TNT Caretano Z (Caretino) and TNT High Valley Z (Ahorn), both ridden by Jos Lansink. But also Millar, son of the full sister of Big Ben, and the KWPN Lincoln have a good chance of victory in the competition. The Holsteiner Cassone (Cor de la Bryere), TNT Zandor (Zeus x Polydor), BWP Ohio van de Padenborre (Quidam de Revel) and Lincoln's sire Faldo (Purioso) among others also come in line for second and third place.

EXCITING FINAL DURING INDOOR BRABANT

In the TNT Sires of the World 2000/2001 TNT Caretano Z is still in the lead in the intermediate rankings. In four competitions he collected as many as 91 points. However, he has not yet won the competition. His close opponents are his stable mate TNT High Valley Z and the winner in Lanaken, Millar, nephew of the legendary Big Ben.

Four competitions have been ridden where 80 stallions competed. Among these, there are 69 who gained one or more points. During Indoor Brabant the finals of the TNT Sires of the World competition will be ridden. The points in the final count for double for the final rankings. For the finals, the top 25 of the rankings are as follows:
