horse AHSA ANNOUNCES CONFIRMED DATE FOR FEI VETERINARY COURSE

The American Horse Shows Association (AHSA) has confirmed the dates for the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) Veterinary Course, to be held in conjunction with the FEI North American Young Riders Championships in Wadsworth, IL.The course will be held from August 7-12, 2001.

Veterinarians interested in applying for FEI status will need to attend an FEI course in order to be considered by the FEI in the fall of 2001.For further information about this course or FEI promotion, please contact Laura Kelly at (859) 225-6983 or lkelly@ahsa.org.


The American Horse Shows Association, as the National Equestrian Federation of the U.S., is the regulatory body for the Olympic and World Championship sports of dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, reining, show jumping, and vaulting, as well as 19 other breeds and disciplines of equestrian competition. As the country's largest multi-breed organization, the AHSA has over 70,000 members and recognizes more than 2,600 competitions nationwide each year. It governs all aspects of competition, including educating and licensing all judges, stewards, and technical delegates who officiate at these shows.
