Nevele Grande Hotel and
Country Club Sponsors Two $100,000 Grand Prix at HITS Catskills |
SAUGERTIES, NY (May 18, 2001)-Horse Shows In the
Sun, Inc. (HITS), producer of six world class hunter/jumper horse show circuits
nationwide, has announced that the Nevele Grande Hotel and Country Club in
Ellenville, New York, will sponsor two of the six $100,000 Grand Prix events to
be held at the HITS Catskills summer series of horse shows. The Nevele Grande
is sponsoring a $100,000 Grand Prix on Sunday, June 3, as the highlight of the
second week of the horse show, and on Sunday, August 5, the featured event of
the fifth week.
The national real estate development and investment company, Stratford Business
Corporation, which is owned by Mitchell Wolff and Joel Hoffman, purchased the
800-acre Nevele Grande complex last year and has implemented a $10 million
renovation plan at the historic resort. All 682 of the luxury guest rooms as
well as all the common areas, recreational facilities, nightclubs, and
restaurants at the Nevele Grande are included in the complete makeover. From
May through September, exhibitors at HITS Catskills will have luxury
accommodations conveniently located literally next door to the horse show-the
entrance to the Nevele Grande is just ½ mile from the show grounds
entrance. In addition to the Grand Prix events, the Nevele is also hosting a
series of exhibitor night parties.
