USA EQUESTRIAN BOARD ADOPTS AMENDMENTS TO CONSTITUTION

USA Equestrian (formerly AHSA) announced today that the constitutional changes approved at its Board of Directors meeting on Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at the Marriott Griffin Gate Resort, Lexington, KY are available at the USA Equestrian web site;

The updated Constitution can be downloaded with revised text indicated in red, by accessing the web site and choosing "Rulebook" and then "Constitution." A document illustrating all added, deleted and revised text may be viewed by clicking on "Rules" and then "Changes" and choosing View the Constitutional Amendments from 7/10/01 Board Meeting.



U.S. Equestrian Inc., as the National Equestrian Federation of the U.S., is the regulatory body for the Olympic and World Championship sports of dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, reining, show jumping, and vaulting, as well as 19 other breeds and disciplines of equestrian competition. As the country's largest multi-breed organization, the Federation has over 77,000 members and recognizes more than 2,800 competitions nationwide each year. It governs all aspects of competition, including educating and licensing all judges, stewards, and technical delegates who officiate at
these shows.
