CROSS COUNTRY COURSE WALK

Friday June 30th - Members of the Pony Club can enjoy a great day out at the Armathwaite Hall Strongid-P Horse Trials & Cumberland News Country Fair - school is ‘out’ for a national teacher training day and admission to the event for Pony Club members and accompanying adults is free!

KAREN DIXON mbe, a regular medal-winning member of the British eventing teams will be hosting a cross country course walk around the new advanced course for the Armathwaite Hall Strongid-P Horse Trials, also looking at both pre-novice and novice fences, on Friday, June 30th, starting at 3.00pm. This is open only to Pony Club and Riding Club members and will start from Armathwaite Hall Equestrian Centre.

Before the cross country course walk, event sponsor Pfizer will present an informative and fun session from leading expert Dr Chris Proudman about worms and worming for Pony Club members. This is free too and takes place at 2.00pm in the Strongid-P marquee on the main showground.

As admission to the showground is by ticket only, free tickets for those wanting to attend the Pony Club day need to be requested in advance - please contact Pam Harrison or Rachel Wadge on 01228 561957 to ask a for tickets for your Pony Club members or e-mail expo.life@dial.pipex.com
