Caldene Continue Support For BETA International 2005

CALDENE - the brand which has returned to the equestrian and country clothing market with such a vengeance - is delighted to announce their continued sponsorship at BETA International 2005 following the success this year.

Now part of Matchmakers International, Caldene, will be out in force with its new range for the second year running.

Said Nick Wood of Trade Fair organisers EMC: "We are very much looking forward to working with the Caldene team once again.

"In 2004 they helped us to make BETA International a real success, and we are already developing new ideas to bring more innovation to the Trade Fair."

Added Richard Lawrence of Caldene: "We are delighted to be main sponsors once again. 2004 proved a huge success for us and provided the ideal occasion to launch an updated, fresh and modern Caldene image and clothing range.

"BETA International is the biggest and best equestrian and country clothing Trade Fair in Europe.

"Everyone involved was pleased with the buzz and atmosphere at the event and felt Caldene benefited greatly as the major sponsor. We are looking forward to helping to make the 2005 event even better.

"We are also pleased to be working alongside the many other sponsors who have given their financial backing in support of the Trade Fair. This will ensure the high standards of BETA International can be maintained and further development can be achieved for the benefit of everyone in the trade."

Bradford-based Matchmakers International also distributes Harry Hall, Masta, Cottage Craft, Westropp and Jack Ellis in the equestrian market.

Since re-launching the brand at BETA International 2004, Caldene has gone from strength to strength, and has recently announced a major new sponsorship deal with three of Britain's leading equestrian stars.

Show jumpers Robert Smith and Ellen Whitaker, and showman Robert Walker, have come together to form Team Caldene.

Said Richard Lawrence: "We are very pleased to be supporting Team Caldene. All the riders have committed to joining us on the Caldene stand at the Trade Fair and it is very exciting to have such leading names taking time out from their competition schedules to attend BETA International."
