The Blood-Horse Launches New Electronic Edition

LEXINGTON, KY-- Blood-Horse Publications, a multimedia publishing company that traces its roots to 1916, has officially launched The Blood-Horse Electronic Edition: a complete and revolutionary new digital edition of The Blood-Horse magazine, the Thoroughbred industry's leading weekly news and information magazine. The Blood-Horse is the second North American equine publication to offer an electronic edition. In May, The Horse: Your Guide To Equine Health Care, also published by Blood-Horse Publications, launched an electronic edition.

The Blood-Horse Electronic Edition is not a Web site but rather an exact digital copy of the printed magazine that can be downloaded instantly to a subscriber's personal computer anywhere in the world. It includes every editorial and advertising page, exactly as it appeared in the print edition. In addition, the electronic edition is completely searchable and includes hyperlinks to web sites of advertisers. It is ideal for subscribers who experience mail delivery delays and for subscribers who live in foreign countries.

Major features of The Blood-Horse Electronic Edition include:

* Instant Delivery: Subscribers around the globe will receive same day delivery.

* Comfortable and Efficient: Provides the same user comfort as its printed counterpart with additional efficient and interactive features.

* Searchable: Readers can instantly research topics in both current and past issues.

* Easy to Use: Subscribers receive a free personalized copy of NewsStand Reader software to download, read, and manage their issues.

* Economical: Subscribers in North America, Europe, Asia-or anywhere else in the world-pay the same annual subscription price as the printed version.

"Starting now it no longer matters whether you live in Ireland or Indiana. Our electronic edition truly revolutionizes the way the industry receives important and timely news and information-and you can have it all, instantly, downloaded right onto your computer or laptop," noted Ray Paulick, editor in chief of The Blood-Horse. "Best of all, it's easy to use, simple to understand, it's never lost or late, and it is brought to you by The Blood-Horse, the leader in delivering racing and breeding news and information."

A subscription to The Blood-Horse Electronic Edition includes fifty-two (52) digital editions and is available for $89 annually. For $149, U.S. subscribers can receive a multi-media "combo" subscription which includes both the printed and electronic editions of The Blood-Horse.
