On August 24th will be held the International Great Prize of Visconde de Mauá, in the Village of Visconde de Mauá, State of Rio de Janeiro. The ride of Mauá (forth consecutive year) entered definitively in the calendar of Brazilian endurance: for the beauty and tranquillity of the region, for the charm of the inns or the climate, but with certainty for the requirement technique of the track.

The ride of Mauá will have the categories 2 ** 103,60 km Adults and Young Riders (27,60. 23,50. 23,50. 15 and 14 km), 1 * 80,10 km Adult and Young (27,60. 23,50. 15 and 14 km) and 1* 56,60 km National (27,60. 15 and 14 km).

The ride will be valid for ranking of the states of Minas Gerais, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazilian and FEI. The ride managers of the ride are Malu Frisoni (MetaBrasil Events) and Júlio Villas Boas (Circuito Rio Events) with the support of Rodolfo Luiz da Costa e Silva, known like the master of ceremonies of Mauá). The track will have small alterations to diminish the variation of altitudes without running away the main characteristic from Mauá: requirement of select technician and strategical of riders.

With the awarding solemnity, the organization will be desiring good luck for the Brazilian Team that will go the Jerez of la Frontera, in WEG's 2002, and will be carried through a ball for the Young Riders.

Visconde de Mauá will be in party with the bustle of the horses, the emotion of the farewell of the Brazilian Team and with the joining of the endurance riders of Brasil.
