|
Visitors
to this year's Mercedes-Benz National Dressage Championships (Stoneleigh
Park, Warwickshire 25th - 28th September) will have the unique
opportunity of being able to purchase a new Mercedes at the event.
In
an unprecedented move, the retail division of the National Championships'
title sponsor, Mercedes-Benz, will be attending on the Saturday
and Sunday of the show with several demonstration A-Class, C-Class
and M-Class models.
Equipped
with detailed product knowledge, staff from the Mercedes-Benz
Birmingham group of retail outlets will be on hand to demonstrate
the latest from the marque's stable. Information on the cost to
change to a Mercedes-Benz including a valuation on current vehicles
will be available as part of the service on offer.
2002

Giorgio S and the Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Roadster that she won
to drive for a year.
Visitors,
who will have the opportunity to test drive the vehicles on the
open road, will be able to secure a purchase at the championships.
Vehicles currently in stock will be delivered within ten days.
For those wishing to place a special order, the normal factory
order process will apply and delivery times will vary based on
the choice of model and specification.
Marketing
Manager of Mercedes-Benz Retail, Miles Moorhouse, described the
move as being a unique opportunity: "This initiative enables
us to take our products to a discerning audience without our customers
having to come and find us - rather like taking the mountain to
Mohammed" he explained.
Those
thinking about changing to a Mercedes-Benz should bring their
drivers' licences, cheque book or credit cards along to this year's
championships. The National Champion may not be the only one claiming
a new Mercedes at this year's event.
