Clinics with Don Blazer in Florida

Florida horse owners can power-up their riding and rev-up their training skills at two separate hands-on clinics when internationally recognized author/trainer Don Blazer reveals his nine secrets of perfect horsemanship.

A Horse of Course

Limited to 13 horses and riders each day, the clinics are scheduled for
Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 9 and 10 at Sunchaser Equestrian Center & Academy
Inc., 9812 167th Place N., Jupiter Farms.

Not about specific styles or disciplines, these clinics are for every
rider striving to reach personal competition goals and that ultimate
partnership between horse and rider.

"Only when you master the mental aspects of horsemanship can you attain
the highest levels of performance. And once you know how the six elements
of training can be combined with the nine secrets you can solve any riding
or training problem," says Blazer.

Blazer is the author of five how-to books on riding, training and horse
health care. His syndicated column, A Horse, Of Course, is must reading
for thousands of fans. He has taught for five different colleges and
universities and he now directs an online performance horse training course
offered by three colleges.

"The focus of these clinics will be on basic exercises such as
half-passes, two-tracking, shoulder-in, leg yielding, pivots and turns,"
Blazer said. "And once the correctness of these exercises has been
established, we will apply them to jumping, dressage, and western riding."
The clinic will explain every weight shift, leg aid and rein position for
every foundation exercise.

Reservations for the clinics, at $165 for horse and rider, can be made by
contacting Angel Phillips at (561) 741-4245 or Alison Schram (561)
575-2517. Non mounted students can register for $50 either day. All those
registering will receive Blazer's book Nine Secrets of Perfect
Horsemanship.
