|
Exactly
one week after contributing to the success of the U.S. team which
won the Nations Cup at CSIO Buenos Aires resulting in the United
States entry into the Samsung Super League Series, Beezie Madden
clinched the Mercedes German Master class in Stuttgart, Germany
on November 21st. The New York based rider, who was awarded a
new Mercedes-Benz, gave credit especially for the jump-off
to her mount, Authentic, an 8 year old Dutch Warmblood gelding
(Guidam - Gerlinda by Katell xx) owned by Elizabeth Busch Burke
and John Madden Sales.
The
FEI had officially announced the FEI Gandini Jumping Riders
World Ranking which will be used to determine the riders eligible
to compete at the Top 10 Final competition in Geneva, Switzerland,
the first weekend in December. Madden has maintained her Top Ten
ranking and sits in 8th position. She will be the second American
rider to compete in the Top 10 Final since its inception
in 2001. Last year, Leslie Howard, the only female rider, wound
up with an impressive 3rd place finish in the Top Ten Final class
on Priobert de Kalvarie (Belgian Warmblood: Kimball - Dorothee
de Kalvarie, by Flugel Van la Roche).
