WINERGY
Ventil-ate researcher wins award |
Animal
Heath Trust (AHT) PhD student, Chris Deaton, has recently been awarded
the prestigious Joan OBrien Research Award for the second
year running. The Award is given for an outstanding oral presentation
by a graduate student.
Chris
carried out much of the research work behind the innovative equine
respiratory supplement WINERGY VENTIL-ATE®. Developed as a result
of a three-year research project, conducted by the WALTHAM®
Equine Studies Group, in collaboration with the AHT, WINERGY VENTIL-ATE
is the only equine respiratory supplement to have been proven in
published scientific trials.
Dr
Pat Harris, Director of Science at Effem Equine Ltd, home of WINERGY,
SPILLERS and EQUIVITE said: It is an unusual and highly commendable
achievement for Chris to win this award for two years in succession.
The Award is given by the Veterinary and Comparative Respiratory
Society and it reflects the high regard in which our research work
is held by these experts.
