Pitmedden Horses. Scotland, like Ireland, is a great place to bring on young horses and there are few who will be turned out as well as Pitmedden Tequila Pitmedden Wilco and Painters Brigg. These three remarkable young horses have been bred Valerie Irvine who owns the Pitmedden stud and brought on by her rider, Lynn Waters. Between them they have done a superb job of bringing on and producing these young horses. I had the pleasure of riding Tequila at my centre in Aberdeen and I can honestly say what a bold, honest and easy to ride horse she is. Lynn has brought all three young horses through a fairly busy year with many shows with good success, but above all she has kept the horses relaxed and uncomplicated, making the next riders job a joy. Tequila is so well naturally balanced that she was easily able to oblige when asked to do a gentle shoulder-in and simple flying changes on both reins, which are both exercises she had not been asked until then. As they all do, she jumps whatever she is put to without the slightest hesitation and in a most sensible way. I have no hesitation in recommend all three horses to anyone for they are honest straight-forward horses with considerable potential. John Crawford, BHSII
