The British Show Jumping Association Executive Board met on the
27th January 2003 and elected John Jacks as Chairman of the Association
unopposed.
John
asked for a vote of thanks to be minuted to the Executive Board
stating " Peter Gillespie has been Chairman through two unenviable
years during which a considerable amount has been achieved. Notably
Stallion Grading, Style and Performance Classes, Junior Winter
and Summer Premier Shows along with the new Amateur Championships
and I would like to express our thanks for his contribution. For
myself the past six years of working on BSJA committees have given
me valuable experience and knowledge that will assist me in my
role as Chairman of the Association".
Clare
Whitaker was elected Vice Chairman and continued as Chairman of
the Pony Committee.
David
Broome agreed to remain as Chairman of the International Affairs
stating that he would be reviewing the International Affairs Policy
for 2003 and Liz Edgar continues as Chairman of Rules.
Katrina
Moore accepted the chairmanship for Training.
Peter Rust was again co-opted on to the Executive Board specifically
for his expertise in financial matters.
