Taking over from the legendary Michael Slavin in September of 2002, Brendan is also in his second year as a Senior International Selector for the Show Jumping Association of Ireland.

From Castleblayney in Co. Monaghan, Brendan is also the freelance equestrian correspondent for the Independent News Network, and has worked in television, with both The Racing Channel and Sky Sports. He is currently in charge of Marketing and PR for Navan Racecourse, and is a regular commentator at major show jumping events in Ireland, and, recently, in the UK.
