Michael Etherly Chosen as Trainer’s Conference Demo Rider

Wellington, FL—Michael Etherly has been chosen as a demo rider for the North American Dressage Trainer’s Club 2004 Symposium to be held January 10-11. The event in its third year will feature clinicians Dr. Volker Moritz and Ingrid Klimke. This year’s theme is the basic training of the horse in preparation for FEI-level training. The event will be held at The Dressage Center in DeLeon Springs, Florida.

Michael Poulin, President of the North American Dressage Trainers’ Club, was instrumental in making this great event possible. “Mr. Poulin invited me to ride as a demo rider and I was thrilled,” said Michael Etherly. He will ride Karin Offield’s Dutch Warmblood mare Katalina. The duo will demonstrate the Prix St. Georges level and is schooling the grand prix movements.

Dr. Moritz, an FEI ‘O’ judge from Germany, has been an official at numerous world-class competitions including the World Equestrian Games and the World Championships for Young Horses. Klimke finished in seventh place at the 2002 World Cup Final and was the highest placed German on the 2000 Sydney Olympic Three-Day Team.
