American Rider Ranked 5th On Latest FEI/BCM Ranking |
German based dressage
rider Lisa Wilcox who ended the year ranked 5th on the
FEI/BCM World Ranking continues to maintain her lofty position on the
latest
Ranking of January 2 - January 31, 2002. Claiming numerous Grand Prix
victories in Germany and Holland throughout the autumn, the Colorado native
will once again be setting the European dressage circuit ablaze competing
on
a string of six German-owned stallions, five of which are Oldenburgs.
The
next highest placed US rider on the World Ranking is Guenter Seidel in
23rd
position.
USA Equestrian Inc., as the National Equestrian Federation of
the U.S., is the regulatory body for the Olympic and World Championship
sports of dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, reining, show jumping,
and vaulting, as well as 19 other breeds and disciplines of equestrian

each year. It governs all aspects of competition, including educating
and licensing all judges, stewards, and technical delegates who officiate
