Equestrian Sets Attendance Record

Attendance
at the 2003 USA Equestrian Annual Meeting, held January 15 - 19,
hit a record high of 514 attendees.
Attendance
at the Annual Meeting has shown steady growth over the past 4
years and this year, despite inclement weather, attendance was
up more than 11%. This increase is more than double the increase
from 2001 to 2002.
Make
plans now to attend the 2004 USA Equestrian Annual Meeting in
Los Angeles, CA, at the Millennium Biltmore, January 14 -18, 2004.
USA
Equestrian Inc., as the National Equestrian Federation of the
U.S., is the regulatory body for the Olympic and World Championship
sports of dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, reining, show
jumping, and vaulting, as well as 19 other breeds and disciplines
of equestrian competition. As
the country's largest multi-breed organization, the Federation
has over 80,000 members and recognizes more than 2,800 competitions
nationwide each year. It governs all aspects of competition, including
educating and licensing all judges, stewards, and technical delegates
who officiate at these shows.
