Casanova with Jennifer Urioste Wins Solaray Junior Jumper Gambler’s Choice

Wellington, FL – February 15, 2003 – Friday evening, the Solaray Junior Jumper Gambler’s Choice Class was a big success. Many enjoyed watching this class while at the Solaray Exhibitor Party in the Jockey Club. Jennifer Urioste won with her Casanova. Intersat Floyd with Melissa Orlick riding for Lynn Zbierski was second and Cannon Boy with Lara Gay was third for RCG Farm.

The World Championship Hunter Rider Spectacular continued today with more juniors and amateurs attempting to qualify for this evening’s Hunter Classic. This class is not only one of the most prestigious for hunters, it also boasts a large total purse which is well over $46,000.

In the Small Junior Hunters today, 15 Years and Under, Addison Phillips qualified her horse Dream On by winning the championship. Kindred Spirit also qualified as the Reserve Champion in this division with owner/rider Alesandra Perna.

In the Large Junior Hunters, 15 Years and Under, Panther was Champion with Sloane Coles riding for Julie Coles. So Be IT was Reserve Champion with Addison Phillips as rider/owner.

Tickets to the Winter Equestrian Festival are available by phone at 793-JUMP or at the gate. Admission is free on Wednesdays. Children 12 & under are free all days. Senior admission is $5 every day. Adult admission is $5 on Thursday and Friday, $10 on Saturday, and $15 on Sunday. Parking is free.
