Despite a cold day, a large number of riders started off the new season at Mundole Equestrian's first showjumping competition. Jayne Mitchell is holding on to the top spot on the leaderboard with Rebecca Garner a close second and Tracy Mitchell and Ruby Downie sharing third place. Several very young riders braved the cold, notably Sarah Boulton on her new mount, Danny. Sarah won the first two classes in great style. Hannah Chisolm from Crudie, near Banff had a convincing win in the last Pony Club Dengie Qualifier of the series as well as winning the 1m class. The first Junior Highland Amateur Qualifier for the Black Isle Show in August was Louise Downie from Auldearn on Sydserf Teasel.
