Post Oak Farm & Guest Ranch is located in Burnet Texas, 50 miles northwest of Austin. We specialize in complete horsemanship training for horse and rider. We have three guest rooms, a pool, 10 school horses, 450 acres to ride on, 3 arenas, 2 round pens and lots of Texas hospitality. We are a small and very informal working ranch which operates on the bed, barn and breakfast format. We have two qualified instructors who teach English and Western riding and we offer recreational ranch rides for those who just want to get out and see the countryside from horseback. For most of the year we have cattle available for cutting and sorting practice. We do offer cutting lessons to intermediate riders. And, we offer pasture and stall boarding and training.
