USA Equestrian and NDSA Present Judging Dressage Riders With A Disability

USA Equestrian and the National Disabled Sports Alliance (NDSA) have joined
together to present the forum, "Judging Dressage Riders With A Disability."
The forum will be hosted by the United States Equestrian Team at the Olympic
Training Center in Gladstone, New Jersey, beginning Friday, November 1 and
running through Sunday, November 3, 2002.

Course leaders for the forum will be Mrs. Jonquil Solt, I.P.E.C. Chairman
and Master Judge and Mrs. Inger Bryant, I.P.E.C. Dressage Committee Chairman
and Master Judge. The forum is designed to provide an in-depth review of
judging dressage for riders with disabilities and will include lecture,
discussion and demonstration, along with practical judging of riders with
disabilities performing the I.P.E.C. tests. Information will also be
presented on the USA Equestrian Dispensation Program which allows riders
with disabilities to compete in USA Equestrian Recognized Dressage shows.
Qualified judges who show competency during the practical segment of the
forum will be eligible to become I.P.E.C. international candidate,
provisional or national level judges.

The course will be open to a maximum of 30 participants, accepted on a first
come, first serve basis with priority given to those judges with a dressage
"R" rating or above. The course will be free to judges with an "R" rating
or above and $50 for judges rated "r", "L" graduates or observers. To
