Stardust wins Vejer Grand Prix |
Vejer
de la Frontera in Spain is proving to be a successful run for Irish
Sport Horses. Gandini Stardust VI (ISH) won last Sundays (March
16th) €111,787 Vejer Grand Prix with the only double clear
round in the class. She was ridden by Khaled Al Eid (KSA).
Coolcorron
Cool Diamond (ISH) came sixth in the same class ridden by Robert
Splaine (IRL). This follows their win in last Fridays 1m45 Gonzalez
Byass class and third place in Thursdays 1m45 El Corte Ingles class.
Gandini Stardust VI (ISH) also won Thursdays 1m40 class, followed
by Hopes Are High (ISH) and Matthew Broome in fifth place.
Meanwhile
in Germany, at the Dortmund CSI W (March 13-16), Mister Springfield
(ISH) and Robert Smith (GBR) took third place in Saturdays 1m50
Preis der Warsteiner Brauerei class. On the same day the 1m60 class
saw Royal Charmer (ISH) and Markus Fuchs (SUI) in eighth place.
