Shelly Francis and Gala win FEI Grand Prix Special

Wellington, FL – March 15, 2003 – On Friday, March 14 at the Wellington Dressage Classic, Shelly Francis won the FEI Grand Prix Special. Shelly rode Gala to a first place score of 68.080%.

Dressage riders are working to qualify for Sunday the final day of competition here in Wellington.

Tina Konyat socred 67.917% riding Liberty in the FEI Prix St. Georges to win first place.

Tickets to the Winter Equestrian Festival are available by phone at 793-JUMP or at the gate. Admission is free on Wednesdays. Children 12 & under are free all days. Senior admission is $5 every day. Adult admission is $5 on Thursday and Friday, $10 on Saturday, and $15 on Sunday. Parking is free.
